Today, we want to introduce you to the mastermind behind our leading valve amplifiers, Adam Rosner, our esteemed Technical Lead. Hailing from New Zealand, Adam has been building valve amplifiers since 2016, and his journey has been shaped by an unwavering passion for music and audio technology.
Before joining English Acoustics, Adam ran his own operation, creating innovative amplifier designs that captivated local customers. In 2019, his quest for excellence brought him to our office and workshop in Chippenham, where he joined forces with Pete Farrow to become jointly responsible for the electronic and circuit design of our amplifiers, as well as the creation of all PCB designs.

Adam's interest in hi-fi audio and electronics goes way back, influenced by his father's work as a recording engineer for prestigious labels like Decca and EMI. As a child, he had the privilege of listening to some of the finest commercial equipment available at the time,
fueling a lifelong pursuit to recapture the amazement that truly transcendent audio reproduction can convey. Building audio equipment became the logical next step for Adam, as it enabled him to bring that exceptional experience to others.
With over two decades of experience in IT, Adam's true passion lies in audio design, and he wishes he had joined English Acoustics much earlier. His design philosophy revolves around simplicity and intelligence, seeking to maximize performance by minimizing the gap between the performer and the listener.
